He held the first comic convention in Canada,  as well as putting out the first Canadian fanzine, both with Terry Edwards and he continued to put out many fanzines for years as well as contribute art to many American fanzines. His 4x5 inch fanzines brought him to the attention of many pros such as Jim Steranko. He spent some time assisting Richard Buckler on Fantastic Four, Deathlok and Planet of the Vampires and Batman among others. He contributed to Charlton Comics with BLUDD THE BARBARIAN from Jim Waley and assisted Gene Day on some of his Marvel work. Over the years he has worked in commercial art operated movie theatres, drive-in theatres and taught cartooning and storytelling courses for Mohawk College. After retirement he was convinced to return to the comic convention circuit by young artist Rob Thibodeau. Vincent brought back the WITH PEN AND BRUSH Studios to bring together a group of young artists to learn and display together.
